New Fit owner with accessory shopping questions...

I just bought a 2008 Fit Sport last night and want a couple of accessories for it.

I am looking at the WeatherTech Floor Liner for the front and back seats. Is there a preferred vendor with the best price?

I am also wanting a center console/armrest. Any deals for those available?

What options are there for iPod Touch integration with the 2008 Fit Sport?

When I frequented the Element Owners Forum, sometimes there were coupon codes for orum members at certain vendors. Anything like that here?

Weathertech has those cool "digitalfit" floor liners: http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvp...1284&Year=2007
OEM all weather mats is also an option.

That's what I want. I just wondered if a particular vendor was better based on pricing, shipping, service, coupon codes, etc.

for an ipod touch, I would probably just use the aux connection, unless you plan on putting a new head unit it.

There aren't too many options for ipod connections, and the aux will be the easiest.

I am using the aux now with the DLO TransDock Direct which is a gooseneck mount that charges the iPod while it is mounted.

The mount is right next to my right knee and is very accessable (except it covers the driver-side cup holder. It's actually in a much better location than when I used it in my Element. I have only had the car since last night, but I think I will be satisfied with my current setup. It would be better if I could control it through the stereo controls, but not necessary.

My 08 only has 4800 miles on it and looks brand new. I wanna keep it that way!

Is that a red Honda emblem on your car? I like that!

Congrats on your Fit! I just did the same... bought a 2008 Fit, and needed an armrest. Nothing too fancy, so I went with this one on eBay... 46 bucks, what the heck.

Vinyl one:
CENTER CONSOLE STORAGE ARMREST ARMREST for Honda Fit:eBay Motors (item 150342730831 end time May-31-09 07:50:38 PDT)

There's a leather one out there in ebayLand too, for 10 bucks more.

I'll try to remember to let you know how it is once I get it.

I just received the armrest from eBay, to my eye it's just fine. I'm doing like someone recommended in the forums and just wedging in a little foam (and sticky-backed Velcro), so I don't have to use screws.

So shipping was fast, product was good, and there ya go!

Thanks for the update!

I will probably get a console with some birthday money in October.

I ordered the WeatherTech FloorLiners from JC Whitney. I found a 20% off coupon and got $20 in JCW gift certificates towards future purchases.

When I get back from vacation next week, I'll probably order a cargo mat from Elemmat.com - Murdock Industrial Inc.

Could you post pics of the install?

I recommend Bernardi Honda Parts for all OEM accessories.

Just a few nitpicks on the armrest I have...

It blocks the old CD holder so that you can't hold CD's in there anymore. CD's fit in the armrest, but they flop around and make it hard to close the armrest unless you have a lot in there.

An armrest that folds up out of the way would be nice too. I think I may end up going for one of those.
