Question Manual Fog lights....possible?

I saw a thread for the GE and was wondering if it was possible for the GD to keep the fog lights on with only the parking lights on? So, in essence, they are not tied to the low beams....

Look in the 'Fit Lighting' forum, down there, somewhere...

The GD3 fog threads show in detail what it takes to get them to come on independently. Here's one and here's the other.

Or do you have a GE8 instead?

read the above methods carefully and u will see the first method is the closest to TRUE independent fogs
to make them the truest u have to follow method 1 (the only method) AND use a fuse spot that is ALWAYS live and u will have the TRUEST form of INDEPENDENCE i.e. u do not need the keys to use fogs (just like the real headlights do)...don't worry the "lights still on" alarm will chime if u forget to turn off the fogs (just like the way the other lights work)

this is the truest method as it emulates the way the other lighting systems works
