How many people are interested into converting their GD3 to JDM?

I would love to do a JDM conversion. Right now, even though I have the money to do one I realy have other much high priorities, like buying a house then doing a JDM conversion. I do realy hope one day I will be able to do a JDM conversion.

I'm perfectly content with the USDM look . . . switching to JDM is far to little bang for the buck, in my opinion.
But I'd be THRILLED if anyone could just source a rear disc conversion that made sense . . . (i.e. one of the stock setups found in other markets, and not the silly oversized aftermarket ones available here).

wat's wrong with the rear drums? it stops the car
fine. are you worried about the look? just run
darker colored wheels.

A more progressive pedal feel, less unsprung weight, easier to service myself . . . and yeah, looks.

I don't have the time or money to do a full JDM conversion but even if I did I doubt I would. I think buying a ton of JDM stuff for the USDM fit is good enough for me.
www.icbmotorsport.com has a TON of JDM goodies for the fits. I can't wait until I can start buying some of them.
I hate the fact that the US gets the watered down version of Japan's models.

the feel is different though vs all disc brakes. not as solid, but then again it can be other factors too.
hope you find wat you want!

Back when CAD was as strong as USD, the Front conversion parts cost me around CAD$3K... and thats not including labour.
Then the rear was around another CAD$800... and then slap on a mugen kit for another CAD2.5K... basically u are looking at 50% of what our GD3 current market value is...

actually back in the CND /US 1 : 1 days
i got my kit for $1300 CND
fenders for $90 CND
hood for $90 CND
Replica JDM headlights $150 CND
Grill $80 CND
all he parts i got from yahoo acution japan, noblesse is @ noblesse only and at the same time i bought a 4dr 1990 r32 skyline to ship all the parts in it. so i saved on shipping !!!
labour to install and paint was aprox $2000cnd
BTW:
shipping a car from jp to cnd is $800 via RO/RO service
or if you ship the ody kit by it self EMS is $700 !!!
so i gota good deal !
but aaron is right.....is it worth the money ??? ppl are modding JDM bumpers to fit USDM front....so i dont see the point to do full jdm conversion
