window winker

i was going through rhd and i saw the spoon hyrdo blue wide side mirrors and i was wondering what a window winker was. I have no idea what it is and was wondering if n e one can help me out.

I think it's just another name for turn signal. My buddy had an old Japanese police motorbike and I remeber him replacing a "winker" and it was the turn signal.
