Increase Performane??

I have a 2008 Fit I bought a year ago. It's about time that I make a few upgrades to stand apart from the others who have bought a fit in my city. I want to get the red H emblems and the "Jazz" embelem for the rear.

Also, what do you think the best performance mods I could make to my Fit for around $500 that could increase my hp.

I am not a car guy by any means, so any information will help! Thanks. And im glad I found FITFREAK!

I have found the Jazz emblem on ebay that says it is a JDM product and sells for $18.97, versus the JDM website where it sales for 79.99. Is it good to trust these auctions?

I want to be different than all the other Honda Fits that I see driving next to me on the road. And I think that could be one way that I could achieve that! I do like the FIT emblem, but the Jazz one could spice it up a little. ...JAZZ...

I/H/E, Blitz TC is nice but not what you're looking for (raising hp)

I/H/E = Intake / Header / Exhaust

i would start with suspension first. save your $500 and buy the t1r spring/shock combo.. it'll be the best money you've ever spent

Some one beat me to it.

As for adding power your not going to see much gains unless you do turbo or Supercharger. Before I got my Supercharger installed I had my car dynoed and with a Intake and Exhaust it made 85 whp. That's maybe 1-2hp over stock.

Ok, so the t1r spring/shock combo...is that more for handling?? Or is that also something that may give me a little more pick-up speed?

MNFit-so the turbo or supercharger are a little out of my price range right now, that will probably be something I do once I pay off the car. But what was it you were talking about when you said "someone has already beaten you to it?"

suspension and wheels/tires

they're probably the ONLY DEFINITE performance increase you'll immediately notice before turbo/supercharge/k-swap.

If the Fit is so much better than the Jazz, I wonder why so many US Fit owners covet the Jazz rear and front ends.

suspension. if you wanted a fast car...don't buy the fit. if you want a fun car aropund town n at the track...fit. if you wanna be different...don't buy a honda, granted you don't see a whole bunch of fits around./

i say if you want to have a bit more "fun" focus on suspension cause the fit, regardless what yo do to it still has a weak 1.5l engine that doesn't show to like boltons much. if you wqant speed, save for kswap or maybe r18 if you wanna do more work. other than swap the only "power addon" thats remotely worth it is FI.

mmmmmm.

Well about the fast car, I know I dont have the money, and time to do a turbo or supercharger. And the suspension, I dont think ill be driving tracks anytime soon. So there are no substantial changes I can make until im ready for the turbo or swap? I appreciate all the help. I guess ill try to do a few little cosmetic things until im ready for the big things.

Any little hints to stand out on the body would be appreciated, that arent too demanding on the pocket (from the stock, sport Fit).
