Repairing two rusted chips
Hey all,
I have two chips that have rusted. Both of these chips are fairly new (maybe a month old) but the weather has been bad here so I could not do anything about them. Anyways I applied wax to them to hold them at bay for now (actually waxed the entire car and that is when I noticed them). The one chip is on the drivers side a-pillar and the other is on the roof. What is the best way to fix them? I have been reading about sanding the rust away with rust pens, using the rust eliminator that makes it into a black spot. What should I use to remove the rust?
Second is repair. I have read some things that seem like quite a bit of work... Such as sanding the blob down. I am not too keen on sanding the paint. I also read about langka blob remover, but read it doesnt work all that well. What is the best way to repair these? Are they covered under honda's no rust warranty?
Thanks
