Trade-In Value 07 Fit Sport
What should I expect as far as trade in value for my Fit. I'm going to look at a WRX STi Wednesday. I have an 07 Honda Fit Sport. Red in color with 27000 miles. No wrecks, mechanical defects or cosmetic damage.
The one thing I'm really curious about is if the aftermarket mods are going to effect my trade in value... specifically the lowering springs. I have the T1R carbon fiber intake, HKS exhaust, GF210 lowering springs, LED tail lights, mugen vent visors, etc.
I could take off everything if I really wanted to except the intake. I appear to have misplaced a couples pieces of the original intake. The only big issue is I'm lazy and don't feel like it!
What do you guys think? Are lowering springs going to effect my value that much?

I doubt it would effect the value that much if any. But of course majority of the public want an unmolested car to buy. It would be to your advantage if you could change your car back to stock as much as possible.

My guess is that the answer is "it depends". If you live in an area where modded Fits are a regular item, the dealer may see your mods as a plus and give you something for them. In my area they will almost certainly give you nothing, and may even drop the value because of the springs.
The usual answer is that if you want to recoup the cost of mods when selling your car, sell it privately to someone who wants them or else take them off and sell them separately.

if your really serious on trading it in then yeah change it back to stock as much as you can. I'm pretty sure you can probably trade someone on the forums for their stock intake + cash for yours. Lowering springs would be a PITA to swap out haha i would say take the hit for that one but dont even tell them unless they ask.
