2007 fit sport p0302 misfire #2 crank no start

Hi,

I could use some help please. My problem started with the P302 cylinder misfire. Engine was running rough but made it home 11 miles. While running my engine at home to trouble shoot, performance deteriorated significantly to the point where now the engine cranks but does not start. I changed my plugs and coils. All plugs looked healthy, no oil etc. I checked spark, & it was Okay. I performed valve lash adjustment (some valves were out of spec). Fuel pump energizes and I have fuel at the quick disconnect fitting which leads to fuel rail. I did not test actual fuel pressure however as I do not have the Honda adapter and gauge set up. I sprayed starter fluid in the intake and vehicle started as long as I maintained the spray. I was able to start it sometimes but it ran very rough and I needed to keep foot on the gas. MIL is flashing. Short Term Fuel Trim = 46.9%, so I know I’m lean. EGR error = 99.2%, and fluctuates sometimes. Thank you for any help in advance!

likely fuel pump issue (compensate by fully open injectors)
EGR error will cause idle dip at stop and go driving (with AT) but it's easy to check

Thanks doc. I tested my EGR with a 12V power supply and I did not hear the solenoid power on (click). What is meant by " compensate by fully open injectors"?
