Exclamation Help!

Someone stole my cat today whilst I was at work. I'm not to bothered because I have wandered in the past if I should delete the cat anyway. However though, I've been trying to find an after market 'straight pipe' to delete the cat and am struggling to find any. Any suggestions on brand/ place to get it from??

TIA

You in the US or elsewhere? If you install a test pipe you won't pass emissions if that's an issue in your locality, and your vehicle will have a check engine light on at all times. In addition, this may noticeably impact your fuel efficiency, as the vehicle will remain in "open loop" mode at all times versus the "closed loop" that would normally occur once the cat heats up. Any local exhaust shop should be able to fab up a "test pipe", as it's literally just a piece of pipe that's fitted in place of the cat.

I'm from the UK which means that emissions are tested when your car goes for an MOT. I have bought a new cat but I knocked all the cat material out, which of course brings engine light on which I am not bothered about. I haven't seen much if at all any difference in my MPG. what I have noticed is that it does like to pop and bang nicely now

😂😂 did it scare you when you turned it on?
i can only imagine the noise it made haha.
sucks they got you though. Muffler shops should have aftermarket cats. Ask around.
