Hi, I'm sure that I've seen this issue covered somewhere here but now I can't find it.
Recently I found myself unable to get my key to slide into the ignition, and then it happened a couple of other times today. Now I'm afraid to pull it out of the ignition, at this point it's so bad that I'm just leaving the key in the ignition LOL and don't even take it out so that I can crank up my car when I get in it.
Are there any easy quick inexpensive fixes to this?
the Stealership is quoting insane prices for this problem. I mean, even getting a new key costs like $200 and some change.
Man, I love this car, had even considered buying some nice sport rims/tires

My Fit
and an infotainment Center for it... but at the same time I wish I hadn't bought it - should have stuck with my gut and bought the 96 Tacoma that I was looking at-- with it I could change the entire ignition for less than Honda wants to charge for a key! This is insanity. Help?
