Immobolizer issue

Hey guys, first time posting here. So long story short, I lost my transponder chip on my key for my 2008 Honda Fit. Its my ONE AND ONLY key! After my batter had died and was replaced, I had purchased an extra shell for my key. As i was transfering the internals into the new key, I completely forgot about the transponder/immobolizer/chip thing!!! ugh. What can i do? I went through so much headache this past week changing out the fuel pump and the crankshaft position sensor (thinking that was the issue after the new battery was installed).

You might be able to get a mobile locksmith, who has a Honda transponder chip encoder, to set it up for you. I did that, rather than go to a dealership to have it done.

How the prorblem has been solved, can you let me know so that I will also follow the same procedure? Whether you have hired locksmith near here or done something else?
