Remote Car Starter options for a 2007 Honda Fit Sport..

Hi Everyone! I just purchased a 2007 Honda Fit Sport- Automatic Transmission.
I want to install a remote car starter that will work with my 2007 Honda Fit. I'm reaching out to see if anyone has experience in factoring in a remote starter kit.
I have installed remote starters in all my other cars but I want to be careful with this Honda. I love this car. I don't want to rush into buying a system until I can learn more. Thanks for any advise!
Anthony

What do you want to know?

ind a system that meets your price point and has the features that you like. I had a Python system on my Civic and it was great. Avital makes a good system that just has a single button fob.

Thanks for your reply.
I purchased a remote start online with the hopes I can install it without problems.
I was curious to see if the keyfob lock unlock features will stop working once I install the remote starter and keyless entry options....

Alternatively remote start systems waste gas, warm up the car much more inefficiently than driving it and there are no idle laws in many areas (and should be in every single municipality across the world).

I appreciate your input. This vehicle is for my elderly mother with no garage in the cold New England. You need to rethink your liberal Save the world comments for our elderly. Merry Christmas! 🎁

Consumerism and convenience over the lives of billions.

Imagine living life that selfishly.

Very true about large vehicles (full size empty pick-up or SUV) used to commute a solo driver to work.

I should have never asked the question about remote starters. Unbelievable socialist liberals crying and complaining about warming up a car. Grow a set and get over yourselves. The big problem with emissions is diesel public transportation vehicles, large manufacturing businesses in Asia. Not a Honda Fit warming up to defrost the ice off a windshield for 9 minutes! Come on guys, really? Stop it already, just stop it!

This forum sucks because 90%of the users are having issues with basic service, not to mention something more advanced.
But they are really like to talk about politics.
I am attaching fairly detailed instruction for one of the remote start units.
