Did any gd3 fits have stock rear brakes?

Hey guys, I've got a Japanese imported 2007 gd3 fit sport and it's got rear discs, I'm also having issues with the handbrake not grabbing tightly. This led me to a bit of googling yet I can't find anything about stock rear discs.
Did honda make any gd3's with rear discs or was mine covered to aftermarket discs while it was owned in Japan?

Maybe you need new brakes (rear pad and rotor) and to tighten the handbrake cable?

Thanks bro new pads is a possibility, it's adjusted fine but doesn't grab well. Maybe new cable. I'm interested in finding out if these are stock parts or a conversion.

My Honda Service Manual for the 07-08 Fit only shows drums, but it's also for the American Fit, unsure on the Japanese version.

Handbrake

I have owned my gd1 for fifteen years and the handbrake has never been very good. The car has new disc pads. I just accept the fact that the handbrake is not that efficient.

US GD3's had rear drum brakes only. Some of the japanese models har rear disc brakes. Like others have said the ebrake was never awesome. That said you could need new brakes or some adjustments to the e brake

If the cable is like the Canadian domestic market fit, I believe you can remove the small plastic cover below the handbrake and there is ratchet and pawl mechanism for tightening the cable in there. I tighten min at the wheels since I have drums. Put the car in gear and jack up the rear. On the first click of the handbrake, the rear wheels should have a slight drag and spin freely when the handbrake is disengaged. Still, I find the fit handbrake a bit week and always park in gear on hills (which is good practice anyway).
