help with fuel pump housing, 1st gen FIT
Hello forum members
We own a 07, 1st gen Honda FIT. A few days ago, we had a mishap and the fuel pump housing connector burned out. I am trying to find the replacement part but so far I have been unable to find the exact part on ebay and such. Looks like the USDM Fits may have a different P/N for the fuel pump housing.
Im attaching the pictures of the one I have
as you can see, there is a 5 pin triangular plug, which is exactly the same as the ones I have found on ebay. The difference is that mine has one fuel output and what seems to be two vacuum lines. The vacuum lines are not on the ones I have found on ebay.

can somebody please point me on the right direction? im basically screwed up with this
best regards

Did you ever find the connector? Did you find out the source of the problem, why the connector burned up? I found the power pin on mine with some discoloration like it was shorting out. After a little sandpaper and contact cleaner my fuel pump starting working again. Now a few days later and again the car won't start. About to pull the console out again to inspect it but something is causing this problem.

The single post forum user who were getting no response in 24 hours will highly unlikely respond to the reply made few month later...
I'm guessing, bad bearings in the pump cause too much current flowing trough the pump motor, resulting in overheating of the connection pins.
