I finally got my hands on a fit! cleanup, and suspension refresh

Thanks again! That’s my car in winter mode...The rack is just a Thule with aero bars - and the cargo carrier is an “Excalibur” but I don’t think that company exists any more. Pretty much a necessity with all the skiing I do in the winter.

well I broke one of them.. but the rest I just undid with a socket wrench by hand... it was not easy but eventually I got the 3 of them out.

Very nice. I've been thinking the same thing with the dash. Luckily my commute is PM so it's not so much trouble. Those shifter bushings still feeling like they were worth the effort? I hadn't necessarily picked up on anybody suggesting them as a mod to tighten up a little in my noobiness so far. It is all looking pretty slick for sure. Making me excited to get my general suspension maintenance finished and aligned finally with hopefully a full set of decient new tires before next year.

Thanks!
I think the bushings were worth it. They were pretty cheap and relatively easy to install - there wasn’t a huge change in the shifter feel, but it was certainly an improvement.
I think the bushings really compliment the weighted shift knob I have. The car shifts, Shifts smooth and easy, but very direct feeling - I used to want a short shifter for the car but I think the stock unit feels pretty great already.
i did some rust repair and my first bodywork on the car (on the rear wheel arch where the bumper screws on...that typical Honda rust spot).. And it doesn’t look so great...so I’m not showing pics yet haha. Unfortunately the mounting point for the bumper is rusted away so it’s all loose and the panel gap is all fucked up...pretty frustrating and o wish I had gotten to it a year earlier. But it’s not the end of the world. It’s just my daily.
i also pulled the radiator to change a coolant pipe and flush the coolant and heater core. here’s the only pic i took of that process - I ground all that rust down and POR15’d the radiator support

I've been following the thread for a few months, and I think the car looks great! I was wondering though, what were your impressions on the Godspeed springs? And would lowering on the stock shocks be okay, or should I save up for aftermarket ones?

I still have the Godspeed springs up front but I changed out the rears for some eibachs because it sat too high for my taste. if I did it again I’d probably buy tein lowering springs.
I am using stock replacement struts from KYB (the OE struts were blown and needed replacing when I did the springs) I’ve driven nearly 10k miles on the new setup, they aren’t bouncy or leaking at all yet
