chevy beat
A co-worker sent this link to me saying who needs a fit when you can get a beat. I couldn't find any real info on this car.
Part of me wants to say this car is hot and the other half wants to say this is the worst looking car ever, thought i would share with all the other fitfreaks.

Those are Daewoo (think Aveo) concept cars.
Quoting Detroit News, "[GM Vice Chairman] Lutz noted that the vehicles aren't currently being designed to meet rigorous U.S. safety requirements, another sign the company isn't likely to bring any of the three vehicles designed at GM's South Korean design studio to the U.S. market."
(I wouldn't mind a Honda Beat.)

they more than likely won't come out with them? I work for GM, they've been promising smaller cars for the past two years but keep coming out with gas hogs... Would b a nice change for them if they did decide to begin production on these cars, although I wouldn't buy one, bcuz of their reliability

For one, the Beat, even if it WERE released, is pretty hideous.
Two, Chevy still hasn't earned my respect as Honda has. One of my ex-girlfriends has an Aveo. They are great on gas, just as the Fit is, but I just don't like how its put together. Seems very cheaply made, whereas the Fit is put together similar to cars at much higher price ranges.

I"m not gonna take complete credit away from GM. They have made some pretty respectable cars, but I think in the budget class they've still got a long ways to go, whereas Honda has been in it for years, and knows how to give everyone the best bang for their buck.
Although, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on that new Chevy Camaro that's coming out. Thing looks hot as hell.

yeah thing looks like a yaris. its a concept that would never make it to production with that styling. and yes itll probably take over the Aveo/Daewoo Lanos if its produced. GM did buy out daewoo ;)
either way its not totally hideous but itll never hit the streets lookig like that. and above all its gonna be a chevy entry car (to say the least it aint quality)
